Inspiring Wall Art

Looking through blogs, I have found some really unique wall art ideas that I love.. Since we don't have enough open walls for me to make all of these, I thought I would start with something a little more simple at first...

This is a picture I found while searching blogs, I can't remember which blog I found it on at the moment, but I wanted to try a couple of my own for our office, here is what I came up with:

I got the circle boards from Joanne Fabrics.. they were only like two dollars a piece, the fabric pieces I had and the lace doily was only a dollar! I had some old pearls that were broken so I added them to the pink circle on the right and added a silver button in the middle, they turned out really cute and look great in the office!

I have mentioned this before, but I am really starting to love eclectic walls, so different and fun!

Frames, More Frames and an Eclectic Wall

So, yes, I am still a pretty dark wood decorating kind of girl, but lately I have really been intrigued by the idea of light with dark, color, eclectic so to speak... hence the fact I have added white to the house, more colors like blue and yellow, and am starting to really do some research on the eclectic look... it's fun!!

I found these wall ideas on Pottery Barn and another random website (will have to fill in the name once I look it up again), and think they are super cute! Here are some pictures of the walls:

So this one is a bit more eclectic. with the bright colors (which I think I am starting to love!)

This one is back to the colors that I traditionally use, but still love!

I doubt I will be doing any of these walls like this in our current house, but it is a fun idea for a future home!

Flower Wall Decor-- Happy Spring!

I was searching online for some fun wall decor DIY projects and came across these amazing flower frame vases that I wanted to share!! I don't know when I will get around to it or what wall I still have available to do it on, but I LOVE these and think they would be so cute in my house! I found this idea from the blog Flamingo Toes.. they have some really cute ideas and fun things to make! Here are some pictures of the frames I am referring to:
